Photography courses

General information

We offer:

  • Various day-courses in Amsterdam from September 2011 - September 2012.
  • You choose a day and a subject, we organize the course. It takes three days to do so.
  • Themed day-courses with a specific subject like portrait photography, nature photography, night photography and macro photography.

Participants will be able to focus all their energy on taking photographs. In exchange for hosting W1F, the businesses involved can use your photographs for advertising purposes.

We take a minimum of 4 up to 8 participants (maximum) per course.

Structure of a one-day course:

Exploring Amsterdam in a unique way and visit places you haven’t been before.

- 10.00 - Getting to know W1F, the course-leader and each other. General information on the course and (camera) theory.

- 13.00 - Lunch, provided by W1F.

- 14.00 - Assignment.

- 17.00 - After completing the assignment, the group discusses a selection off the most interesting photos. We finish the day off with juice and/or wine. The times might differ by certain subjects, such as nightphotography.

Three ways to complete the assignments:

  1. Photographing small business locations
  2. Photographing on themed cycling tours (€ 10,- extra for the bicycle)
    • Architecture, traditional or modern
    • Sculptures in public places
    • Bridges
    • Fountains
  3. Photographing at festivals or events
